Jennifer P. Wang M.D. & Associates is dedicated to providing the highest quality of eye care. Our goals are guided in the interest of the patient as we strive to provide compassionate, personalized patient care. We meet our goals through the teamwork of our highly trained Physician and staff, superior customer service, and the latest in eye care technology.
Jennifer P. Wang, M.D.
Board Certified Ophthalmologist and Oculoplastic Surgeon
Dr. Wang has been in practice for 10 years. She attended Northwestern University for her undergraduate training. She received her medical degree from Wright State University and completed her residency at Case Western University in Ohio. Following her ophthalmology training at Case Western Reserve University, she went on to a fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Henry Ford Hospital System. Her specialty interests are eyelid surgery, eyelid reconstruction and tearing problems. She sees many pediatric patients for routine eye exams as well as nasolacrimal duct obstruction.
She comes from a family of ophthalmologists and was born and raised in Ohio. Other than spending time with her husband and two children, she enjoys running and traveling.

Jean Hsu, O.D.
Specializing in Contact Lenses, RGP’s and Corneal Refractive Therapy
Dr. Hsu was born in Taiwan and immigrated to Burbank, California with her family in 1984. She graduated from U.C. Riverside with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and received her Doctor of Optometry in 1998 from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.
Prior to relocating to the Bay area in 2008, she worked for a family private practice in San Gabriel, California. Her interests include specialty contact lenses fitting, laser vision correction co-management, and treatment of ocular disease. She is fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese.
Dr. Hsu lives in San Jose with her husband. They enjoy dining out, cooking, traveling, watching movies and spending time with friends.

Jia Lao, O.D.
Dr. Lao grew up in the Midwest. After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Michigan, she moved to New York City to pursue her dream of becoming an optometrist. In 2007, Dr. Lao completed her Doctorate of Optometry from SUNY College of Optometry, graduating as Valedictorian of her class. Upon graduation, she started working in a private ophthalmology practice in Manhattan. Her professional interests include primary care optometry, contact lens, surgical co-management, and ocular disease prevention and treatment.
Recently, Dr. Lao relocated to the Bay area with her husband. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, traveling, cooking, and reading
